Calling Volunteers for the 2019 Bradner Flower Show

Pauline Isherwood - The 91st annual Bradner Flower Show is fast approaching! Volunteers are needed immediatly to help prepare and to help during the weekend show on April 12, 13 & 14th, 2019. The theme this year will be the "Art of Nature"!

Volunteers Needed

Please email Pauline Isherwood to sign up! Some duties need to be completed now, some the week before the show and some on the weekend of the show.

Volunteer Opportunities

Booking Tents - Aldergrove Credit Union, Prospera Credit Union, Envision Credit Union and Mt Lehman Credit Union - booking can be completed Online and will take about 30 – 45 minutes.
Invitations - emailing MLA's and Abbotsford City Hall, Mayor & Councillors. There is a list available, contact Pauline.
Planting - fixing up the planters on the outside of the hall a few days prior to the show, buy plants from Devan nurseries, the Bradner Community Club covers costs.
Security - phone and book security for April 11, 12 & 13 from 6pm - 8am. Contact Pauline for the security company's contact info.
Cleaning - the Bradner Hall bathrooms, on Friday April 12th and Saturday April 13th after the show closes each day at 5pm, this will take about 30 – 45 minutes.
Booking Speakers and Entertainment - Contact Pauline for a list, need to fill about 5-6 spots, contact Pauline. Speakers and Entertainments contacts have all done this before, so it is easy to coordinate.

Each year All flower sale proceeds go to support the Abbotsford Regional Hospital

Hello ..........this will be my first time coming to the Daffodil Show. I am also very interested to see if there is a list of Daff farms or fields we could visit.............with thanks ............Ted Baker
