More Fun Facts!

In 1917, there was usually 3 trains a day plus a daily milk train and several freights, but that year the storms were so bad the trains couldn’t travel for a week.

In 1960, Bradner residents decided they need a new and bigger hall for their Flower Shows. The new hall was built by volunteers and donations and was completed in 1963.

The Bradner Mayday celebration has been ongoing since 1920, used to be called Empire Day, then Victoria Day.
