The Bradner Barker has been publishing since 1994 as a local source for community news and information. In 2015, the publication changed management and a life long central Bradner resident, Heather Lemieux, Technical Writer, launched the publication online.

The Bradner Barker is an important part of strengthening community life and increasing communication. It has provided news coverage of many pressing issues, given a profile to the events, activities and personalities of the many community groups and activities in Bradner. It has also increased the sense of community pride and awareness for all Bradner residents.
