The Bradner Flower Show will be taking place at Bradner Community Hall, 5305 Bradner Rd, Abbotsford, BC. The show takes place April 10 - 12, 2026 from 10am to 4pm daily. Admission is $2.50. The theme for this year’s show is “A Fairy Garden”

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Turchyn at the age of 92. Born in Vancouver BC, his family settled in the Aldergrove area of the Fraser Valley. Greeting you with a warm smile and firm handshake, he was well respected in the community and a proud farmer for 52 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 68 years Monica; daughters Lynda, Sandra; sons Michael Jr., Mark (Mya) and Randy; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and a large extended family. A celebration of life will be held in the new year.

Sandra "Sandy" Linnitt (DesLauriers), 69, of Abbotsford, British Columbia, passed away at her home on November 1, 2025, surrounded by family.
