Joseph C. Shields, Student of Rick Hansen Secondary School
Living in the Bradner area and as a former Bradner Elementary student, I can say that I loved Bradner. I've always loved the area. And the school plays a key part in keeping the Bradner tradition alive. After Bradner I went to Eugene Reimer Middle School. Which was a mostly positive experience, of course any school has their flaws but I would say Eugene Reimer, being smaller is still a good school by all means.

Investigators are asking for dash-cam video (or home surveillance) from drivers who travelled along the following routes in Abbotsford between 7 pm and 8:30 pm on the evening of Friday July 10th, 2020:
BIG NEWS TODAY!! Conway has been moved out of the pedophile house and has been relocated in Mission, BC. More details will be posted as they emerge on the Protect our Children in Bradner Facebook Page. The above picture was taken by a local Bradner neighbour who drove past the pedophile house only to see Conway (in the doorway) and a second criminal lounging in the front yard. Both men casually gave the neighbour 'the finger' as he drove by, so the neighbour stopped and took a picture. What a fine example of our British Columbia criminal justice system. Criminals and sex offenders lounging in a residential community laughing at honest, hard working neighbours whose lives have been totally disrupted by their presence.
Just after the last article was published on Delfresh Mushroom Farms' pollution issues, a sign was posted at the front gate of it's facility on 58 Avenue. Abbotsford Bylaws and Building permit officers also attended the property.
On May 26th, 2016 Delfresh Mushroom Farms Type 'A' mushroom composting facility struck again. These picture shows what neighbours witnessed before they even had a chance to drink their morning coffees. The picture shows the far toxic holding pond with a hose pumping waste into the closer pond and another hose with an electric cord beside it pumping water into a mapped tributary feeding Lehman Creek, which joins Nathan (Beaver) Creek shortly thereafter. Residents living nearby this facility again face the dangers of a blatant act of polluting their properties, wells and their children, pets and health is at risk. A property owner to the immediate rear of this facility uses a well and are horrified to learn of what appears to be a dumping zone across the Harris Road right-of-way and onto their land. They are concerned because in August 2015 a picture was taken of a similar hose leading into their forest. Warning! Residents of Bradner issue major safety concern for Nathan Creek, as known by local Bradner residents as Beaver Creek, after life-threatening amounts of Fecal Coliform and Ecoli was discovered coming out of a culvert straight into a tributary that flows directly into Bradner (Bruff) Creek just before it joins Nathan (Beaver) Creek at the 58th and 56th Ave intersection. Anyone accessing this water, have children, pets or animals should be aware this high-level of pollution can cause numerous health issues, including death.
Members of the community had water tests done on April 25th, 2016 after two very polluted tributaries were discovered by residents in Bradner on April 20th. Samples were taken from one of the two polluted tributaries just south of 58th Ave. Delfresh Mushroom Farms and H.Q. Mushroom Farm has been fined for the pollution. The test results are absolutely disgusting... and off the charts - and NONE of us in Bradner have been warned.
Two tributaries in Bradner have been found with serious pollution in recent weeks. Both lead to Bruff (Bradner) Creek and Beaver (Nathan) Creek, which are salmon bearing creeks... children play in them and wildlife drinks from them. There is a good chance that polluted water may be running through your property... These tributaries are so bad that when discovering them your eyes will water, your nose and throat will sting... for days and you will gag, you'll only dry heave if you're lucky.
Many complaints have been received lately of the enormous amounts of garbage being dumped illegally in rural areas of West Abbotsford. Garbage seen are appliances, furniture, construction debris such as drywall and buckets.
