Bradner, BC - Driving home this morning we came across a tiny baby kitten laying in the middle of Taylor Road. Stopped to investigate and saw he was bleeding from the mouth. Looks like he was hit by a passing car. Scooped him up and got him to Dr. Burton. Fortunately, the prognosis is good. After a big bowl of cat food and a saucer of cream he fell into a deep sleep. We are not sure whether he is meant to be our angel, or whether he belongs to someone else. If you or someone you know who has lost a kitten please email us. UPDATE: Katie was safely found at 4:00pm this afternoon. Thanks to everyone who shared the post! At 2:10pm today Sept. 21st, 2015) the Abbotsford Police Department was contacted about a possible missing person. A care worker reported that he stopped briefly at the Bradner Rest Stop of the Trans Canada Highway #1 (westbound). While he was away from the vehicle, his passenger, 21-year-old Katie Nauss, apparently walked away. Witnesses told police they saw a woman walk into one of the trails off of the park. The care worker quickly searched the trails and then called police when Katie was not located. Katie Nauss is a Caucasian female, 5’6” tall with braided blonde hair. She has Autism and walks with a limp. She was wearing a grey coat with dark pink trim, grey sweatpants and sandals. Anyone with information about Katie Nauss should call the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225 or text the APD at 222973 (abbypd). By Myles Andrew
Bradner, BC - Lost and found.... I was flying a DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter near the intersection of Lefeuvre Road and Myrtle Avenue on August 1st, 2015 at about 4 pm, when it veered North and flew away... I was hoping that someone might have seen it flying by, make a controlled landing, a crash landing... or spotted it lying on the ground. I am offering a REWARD if found... If you have any information please email me at [email protected] UPDATE - THIS IS MADDIE AND SHE IS REUNITED THANKS TO THE FINDER AND POST!! JULY 16th, 2015 - SMALL FRIENDLY FEMALE DOG FOUND IN BRADNER ON JULY 10th, 2015 - We found this sweet pup in our neighborhood, the Bradner Community. She’s lovely calm. Doesn’t bark much and has peach on her back. Weird underbite a bit to one side. Maybe 2-3 years old, probably a Momma dog at some point too. She gets along with kids and dogs without barking. Very friendly. No tags on her collar. Any leads would be appreciated. Townshipline and Ross Road was where she was picked up, in Abbotsford farmlands (aka Bradner). UPDATE - Note from McMath Family - We reunited this cutie her owners. It seems they contacted animal control, who I think saw this ad and pointed them our way. One little 6 year old girl was over joyed, but another little 8 year old girl devastated to lose her new best friend. Btw, puppy’s name is Madison, (Maddy). Owners saw her run into the bushes with her two other dogs and not return with her buddies later on and started to assume coyotes got her. Owners from Chilliwack were working on a house in Abbotsford and are not really Facebook savvy. Happy endings for a lucky pup. Thank you Missing Pets IN BC! Bradner, BC - A very friendly small dog was found this morning running down the middle of Townshipline Road. Please contact Matthew McMath at 778-552-5088 to identify collar.
