Bradner May Day is on Monday!

Come on out for Bradner's 97th May Day Celebration this Monday, May 23rd, 2016. This year there will be a Rock Wall, Bungee Run, Hay Rides, Petting Zoo, Carnival Games, Cupcake Walk.. and more!! Join us for Pancake Breakfast @ the Bradner Hall starting at 8am, Parade begins at 10am, Concession starts at 11:30 serving Burgers, Hot Dogs & BEER! All this is topped off by a Spaghetti Dinner @ the Bradner Hall from 5 - 7pm.

Warning! Residents of Bradner issue major safety concern for Nathan Creek, as known by local Bradner residents as Beaver Creek, after life-threatening amounts of Fecal Coliform and Ecoli was discovered coming out of a culvert straight into a tributary that flows directly into Bradner (Bruff) Creek just before it joins Nathan (Beaver) Creek at the 58th and 56th Ave intersection. Anyone accessing this water, have children, pets or animals should be aware this high-level of pollution can cause numerous health issues, including death.

Bradner, BC - Editorial, By Heather Lemieux - A meeting was held last night regarding bussing in the Abbotsford School District. Ray Velestuk, Secretary-Treasurer of the Abbotsford School Board said that the district looked at getting rid of bussing ENTIRELY or increasing the amount bussed students pay by 3 or 4 times.

Ottawa, ON – Today, Mark Warawa, Member of Parliament for Langley — Aldergrove, introduced his Private Member’s Bill C-268: Protection of Freedom of Conscience Act.

Warawa’s bill would amend the Liberal government’s assisted suicide legislation, Bill C-14. It would guarantee the protection of conscience rights of physicians and health care professionals who conscientiously object to participating in assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Polluted creek in Bradner Delfresh Mushroom Farms H.Q. Mushroom Farm Industrial Composting

Members of the community had water tests done on April 25th, 2016 after two very polluted tributaries were discovered by residents in Bradner on April 20th. Samples were taken from one of the two polluted tributaries just south of 58th Ave. Delfresh Mushroom Farms and H.Q. Mushroom Farm has been fined for the pollution. The test results are absolutely disgusting... and off the charts - and NONE of us in Bradner have been warned.
