Due to an undetected leak in the roof of the school gymnasium, water has subsequently caused severe damage to the east wall of the gymnasium - the one that has historical murals, the entire exterior wall is slated for replacement.

The speaker for the evening will be Nancy Moore, local horticulturalist and Master Gardener teacher, giving a presentation on the Dr. Sun Yet-Sen Garden in Vancouver, Classical Chinese Garden Design. Wetlands Threatened by Expanding Industustrial Developments on Langley and Abbotsford Border5/7/2019  Brit Gardner - I went for a Langley walk yesterday along the West Creek headwaters, in Gloucester Industrial Estates. Close to where I grew up. Thanks to the beavers, these wetlands are a beautiful, thriving, and complete ecosystem. The creek headwaters are home to salmon spawning, geese, ducks, rare and migratory birds, rabbits, and countless other wildlife.
 The annual Mt. Lehman Garden Club Plant and Bake sale will be held this Saturday, May 11th, 2019 @ 9am until 12 noon at the Mt. Lehman Credit Union parking lot, under the tent. There will be a wide variety of member grown perennials, trees and shrubs, as well as a selection of delicious home-baked items, all very reasonably priced. For info, contact Maureen at 604-856-2851.
