Conway is out of Bradner...

BIG NEWS TODAY!! Conway has been moved out of the pedophile house and has been relocated in Mission, BC. More details will be posted as they emerge on the Protect our Children in Bradner Facebook Page.

The above picture was taken by a local Bradner neighbour who drove past the pedophile house only to see Conway (in the doorway) and a second criminal lounging in the front yard. Both men casually gave the neighbour 'the finger' as he drove by, so the neighbour stopped and took a picture. What a fine example of our British Columbia criminal justice system. Criminals and sex offenders lounging in a residential community laughing at honest, hard working neighbours whose lives have been totally disrupted by their presence.

The Mission City Record posted an article describing the situation. They have notified the community that the notorious high-risk sex offender, James Conway, is moving from Abbotsford to Mission, according to BC Corrections. Conway has a long criminal history, including three sexual offences against children, as well as sexual interference of a person under 16, sexual assault, arson and has breached his conditions numerous times.

Conway was living in a Bradner halfway house managed by WJS Canada that was found to be violating zoning bylaws. The City of Abbotsford filed a lawsuit to force Conway's relocation. In November 2015, the City of Abbotsford filed a notice of civil claim in BC Supreme Court against the owners of a property that houses a Bradner halfway house. The suit alleges that the defendants are using the property for Commercial, Institutional and Care uses', uses which are not permitted under the 'Agricultural 1' zoning for the neighbourhood.

A Bradner resident spoke to City officials in Abbotsford and it was confirmed WJS Canada's opposition on the City's civil suit. The City claim that WJS are running a halfway house or detention facility on ALR land. This is a business that is not agricultural in nature, and the property is not zoned for such a facility. The legal cost to the City and it's taxpayers will be at least $25K, and presumably WJS will be on the hook for a similar amount. Neighbours argued that Abbotsford has existing facilities for mentally challenged people and Conway could reside in town where better policing is available.

Warning Signs popped up all over Bradner after residents learned of the sex offender residing in the rural community.

In December 2015, the Bradner neighbourhood sent the WJS a Christmas wish to WJS Canada's Management and Staff.

"Our wish is that some other uncaring organization places a serial sex offender like James Conway into each of the WJS staff member's neighbourhoods sometime in the New Year".

Currently Conway is described as 6' 4" tall, 250 pounds, Caucasian, with brown hair and blue eyes. He is subject to monitoring by authorities and 25 court-ordered conditions - according to BC Corrections.

These conditions require him to remain in his home 24 hours a day unless he is supervised. Conway is also electronically supervised and is banned from consuming alcohol, possessing weapons, wearing uniforms of firefighters and peace officers, and attending any site that offers activities for minors.

All the major news networks have now picked up the story that James Conway is being moved to Mission, BC.

Bradner wants Mission to know... they should take heed that BC Corrections will probably keep his exact location a secret and not inform unsuspecting families living in the vicinity as they did here in Bradner. Mission folks, our neighbourhood feels your pain. If you determine that Conway has been moved into your neighbourhood, don't sit back. Take action as Bradner did. It is the only way to get rid of this kind of person!
