Illegal Garbage Dumping and What you Can DO

Many complaints have been received lately of the enormous amounts of garbage being dumped illegally in rural areas of West Abbotsford. Garbage seen are appliances, furniture, construction debris such as drywall and buckets. 

The ravine by the Mt. Lehman Cemetery is littered with stoves, mattresses and all manners of debris mainly in the past few months, in addition to illegal dumping on Taylor Road, Bradner @ River Road, Bates Road (at the foot of Harris Road)  

Residents are astonished about the flagrant dumping of trash, and have seen an big increase since the Matsqui Dump closed in November 2015. Read... Matsqui Transfer Station is Closing

First Class Transfer Station, 933 Coutts Way, Abbotsford - 604-823-2116
Monday to Friday 6am - 7pm
Saturday 8am - 5pm
Sunday and Holidays 8am - 4pm
(Closed Christmas Day and New Years Day)

Progressive Waste Transfer Station, 34321 Industrial Way, Abbotsford - 604-864-0568
Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm
(Closed on weekends and Statutory Holidays)
