DID YOU KNOW...?

Ventilation removes unpleasant smells and excessive moisture, introduces outside air, keeps interior building air circulating, and prevents stagnation of the interior air.

Ventilation includes both the exchange of air to the outside as well as circulation of air within the building. It is one of the most important factors for maintaining acceptable indoor air quality in buildings.

Services

RESIDENTIAL FORCED-AIR HEATING SYSTEMS
A✓ installs, repairs & services forced-air - also known as central heating systems. Forced-air systems use air as its heat transfer medium & rely on ductwork and vents to distribute air. The central air handler heats and directs air from the central unit to rooms. Regardless of type, all air handlers consist of an air filter, blower, heat exchanger/element/coil, and various controls. Central heating systems use thermostats to control forced air heating systems. Forced-air heating is the most commonly installed type of central heating in North America.

HRV SYSTEMS
We install, repair & service heat recovery ventilation (HRV) - also known as mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR). HVR is an energy recovery ventilation system using equipment known as a heat recovery ventilator, heat exchanger, air exchanger or air-to-air heat exchanger. HVR systems operate via a cross flow or counter-flow heat exchanger between the inbound and outbound air flow. HRV provides fresh air and improved climate control, while also saving energy by reducing heating (and cooling) requirements.

VENTILATION SYSTEMS
Ventilation systems are mechanical structures of connected devices that control airflow within confined spaces, commonly homes and offices. Its main function is to introduce a constant supply of fresh air, usually from the outside, while channeling stale air back out.

AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS
It’s hard to enjoy your home when it’s unbearably hot. Get the most out of your home & invest in a new air conditioning system. Air conditioning (AC) removes heat from confined spaces, cooling the air and removing humidity to achieve comfortable interior environments. Electric refrigerant-based AC units range from small units that can cool a small bedroom, to massive units installed on the roof of office towers that can cool an entire building. Cooling is typically achieved through a refrigeration cycle, but evaporation or free cooling is also used.

HV HEATING/COOLING SYSTEMS
High velocity split-system heating and air conditioning systems have small diameter ductwork - making the system ideal for adding air conditioning (and heating) to older multi-story homes where there is no space for larger diameter ductwork of standard central air conditioning & heating systems. High velocity systems consist of a special type of indoor equipment called an air handler, outdoor equipment (any standard either air conditioner condenser or heat pump), a line set of pipes to connect the indoor and outdoor equipment together, special narrow diameter ductwork which connects to the indoor equipment to transfer the heated and cooled air throughout the home, and a standard thermostat to control the system. High-velocity systems may also ensure a drier, more comfortable environment than that provided by conventional air conditioning due to an air circulation method called aspiration. By discharging cold air at a high-velocity from strategic locations (such is in a corner or next to a wall), high-velocity systems create an intermingling of air in the room to give a complete and thorough circulation.
