The City of Abbotsford is looking at excluding West Bradner and Southeast Mt Lehman from the ALR for Industrial use. West Bradner is located East of Gloucester Industrial Estate, and the Trans-Canada Highway. Agricultural activity, including hay, blueberry, small-scale vegetable production, pasture and grape production, is primarily located in the southern portion of West Bradner.
The Southeast Mt Lehman portion is located between the Peardonville and Clearbrook Industrial Areas and Abbotsford International Airport. Agricultural activities at this location primarily include blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry production as well as poultry and greenhouse operations.

Hear hear ! No more exclusions ! Use the land that has already been excluded to its full potential instead of excluding more farmland .

The Rich people who live in Bradner like 20 Acres Pasture around there house. They try to qualify for farm deduction by small pastures. No one is doing much farming. They want their property taxes low. But on the other Abbotsford is grown, we need jobs here, for that we need land for Industry. Kids are tired of driving Vancouver for jobs. They can not places to live there, so abbotsford need create more businesses to have more jobs here.
