The per capita cost of the Interurban is $1,125

The per capita cost of the Surrey Center to Langley City SkyTrain is $23,333.00

The per capita cost of the Surrey Center to Fleetwood SkyTrain is $26,190

Please put a STOP to the Fraser Highway SkyTrain extension UNTIL the South of Fraser Transportation Study is complete!

Whether you measure the value of this proposed project in dollar terms or in population served, there is NO measure through any OBJECTIVE Business Plan that can defend and justify a SkyTrain extension expenditure.

We urge the BC Government to allow the South of Fraser Transportation Study to provide an objective analysis of Transit and Transportation options as well as per capita value vs. service for tax dollars spent.

The South of Fraser Transportation Study will receive the correct information to evaluate for analysis and final recommendation – Here are the FISCAL FACTS:

Surrey Center to Langley City SkyTrain - $218,750,000 per KM ($3.5 Billion/16 Kms) Population served - 150,000 catchment = $23,333.00 per capita

Surrey Center to Fleetwood SkyTrain - $235,714,000 per KM ($1.65 Billion/7 KMs) Population served - 63,000 catchment = $26,190.00 per capita

Reactivating the EXISTING Interurban with Hydrogen Passenger Service - Pattullo Bridge Skytrain Station to City of Chilliwack, full map above – $13,636,363. per KM ($1.35 Billion/99 KMs) Population served - 1.2 million catchment = $1,125.00 per capita
