James Conway Sex Offender in Abbotsford Bradner BC Rally Protest

Patience is running thin while residents of Bradner wait for the City of Abbotsford and the legal system to uphold the City's Zoning Bylaws and remove serial sex offender, James Conway, from our rural neighbourhood.

The process is moving much too slowly for many here who reside with their children in Bradner, across the street and beside Conway's house. Initially a January/February eviction date was discussed. The latest news is that a trial will not start until May/June. Bradner residents ask "What's next, a lengthy trial, a summer recess, a judicial ruling followed by appeals? Will Conway ever be gone??"

Neighbours have run out of patience and will be resuming community protests. The first protest rally will be held on Sunday, April 3rd, at 11:00am at 27720 Joanita Place (Across the street from Conway's residence)

Please come out and show your support. Help us tell the BC Government that they should not be placing serial sex offenders into residential neighbourhoods and playing "Russian Roulette" with our children's safety!

James Conway:

Is a high-risk sex offender who has previously been convicted three times for sexual offences perpetrated against children.
He has a criminal history which includes sexual interference of a person under 16, sexual assault, arson damaging property, failure to comply with disposition and breach of recognizance.
According to BC Corrections, Conway has maintained a versatile pattern of sexual offences against female children in a predatory and opportunistic manner.

CBC published a full episode on Pedophiles. It is available online and is about 45 minutes long. The show tends to sympathize with pedophiles, especially those who recognize that they have a problem, but have never acted on their 'urges'. The show is said to cast a negative light on neighbourhood protests like Bradner's, but makes no attempt to differential between a person with 'pedo' tendencies vs. a person like Conway in rural neighbourhoods with a history of sexual offences against children.
