FAREWELL TO ALBERT GIBSON

Our dear friend and neighbor, Captain Albert Gibson will be leaving our community at the end of May. He has lived here his entire life. So long, in fact, that the street which runs along his homesite is named after his family. 

​His father was a founding member and builder of the Jubilee Community Club and he has spent much of his time as mentor, historian, elder and benefactor to Jubilee, the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada (ANAVETS) and the Mt. Lehman Community Club.

While we are sorry to see him leave, we wish him all the best and would like to have an opportunity to thank him for all his years of community service by giving him a bit of a send off. Join us this Sunday, July 8th, 2018 between 2 and 4 pm to honour Albert at the Jubilee Community Hall, 7989 Bradner Rd, Abbotsford.
