​There are 3 more events for the Glen Valley Watersheds Society for 2016! Can’t believe this year is almost over. These events are rain or shine BUT the winds last week have reminded me that we will cancel these events if there are strong winds as we are working under trees.

Blackberry pull – West Creek Wetlands

Tuesday November 29th and December 13th, 2016 @ 10am - 12pm
72 Ave west of 264 St (access is south side of 72 Ave immediately west of the last house coming from 264 St.), refreshments provided as well as tools. We are continuing the work we did last winter cutting and digging up blackberries in this beautiful park reserve. Work has been very slow this season because there have been very few volunteers, would be great to get a lot more people out.

Bradner Ivy pull

Monday December 5th, 2016 @ 10am - 12pm – this is a professional day in Abbotsford so if you know any youth looking to fulfill their community hours please send them to us! We will be out at Bradner Park, the small portion of the park off of Haverman Rd, west of Bradner Rd. FREE pizza arrives at 12!! Refreshments provided and we will bring tools but if you have your own that you feel more comfortable with please bring them along.
